Axion Engineering                               

Axion Engineering's specific expertise lies in designing and project managing new recycling plants and plant modifications for third parties, with contracts in the range of £10k to £10million.

We use our experience of building and operating our own plants and our extensive experience of process engineering trials of many different types of recycling separators and size reduction devices to build plants which are innovative but also rugged and reliable.

Examples of Clients:

Axion Polymers: in 2006 Axion established a production division called Axion Polymers with a major investment from S Norton & Co, one of the UK’s leading metal recyclers. It has developed a state of the art recycling factory for WEEE plastics in Salford with a capacity of 14,000 tonnes input material per year. An experienced polymer processing team has been developed at the facility at Salford; Call the Axion Engineering team on +44 (0)161 426 7731 for further information.

S Norton & Co: Axion is building (and will then operate) a state of the art bulk vehicle shredder residue reprocessing facility (200,000t/yr) on behalf of S Norton & Co.
